FORM: Proxy Form for a General Meeting

Complete a proxy form for an upcoming General Meeting of your Strata Company

Overview

A proxy form allows the owner(s) of a lot to empower an authorised person to represent them, and vote for them at General Meeting of the Strata Company, or at a Vote outside a General Meeting.  It important that they are filled out completely, and accurately in order to be valid.  We have created an electronic proxy form that can be filled in below, for the ease of our clients.

Important Information

  1. Any natural person can hold a proxy form. That person does not have to be an owner.
  2. An incorporated owner should appoint a natural person as its proxy holder if it intends to vote.
  3. Except in the case of a unanimous resolution, co-owner of a lot (e.g. husband and wife) may only vote on a show of hands if a proxy form has been completed by all co-owner appointing one person to vote for them.
  4. If possible, please complete and return the proxy form to the strata manager well before the general meeting and confirm its safe receipt.
  5. If you want to revoke this proxy form, please give notice of revocation to the proxy holder and the strata manager.
  6. An incorrectly completed proxy form may result in the proxy being invalid.

Filling in the Form

The proxy form below can be filled in electronically.  Please be aware that only the owner(s) of the lot, or an authorised representative of an incorporated owner can complete and sign a proxy form.

Carefully complete the below electronic proxy form, empowering a proxy holder to represent you at the designated General Meeting of your Strata Scheme.  Some of the information you are required to complete, will be on your Notice of Meeting.
