What do I do if I feel harassed, bullied or fearful of another resident?

There are no specific Strata regulations regarding 'bullying' however there is a standard by-law stating that residents must not behave on common property in a way that causes offence or embarrassment to the proprietor, occupier, or other resident.

If you feel that you are the subject of harassment or bullying, or if you fear for your life, you should contact the Police immediately.

If you believe another tenant is in breach of a by-law, such as the one above, you can leave a complaint with your Council of the Strata Company who can decide whether or not to issue a breach notice.
